I shot engagement photos for Connie and Greg quite a while ago, but it’s always been one of my favorite sets of engagement photos. She was a volley ball player at Point Loma, and if I remember right there were a number sisters following in her footsteps…a lot of height and athleticism in that fam!

We shot these photos around their property just to the east of Vancouver (WA, not BC for those not from around the Northwest.) hah As in another post, I really liked the bright light in a couple of these shots…the glowing ferns, great highlights on their faces and hair, etc. It was also my first time using a video light which Jon Marshall so kindly manipulated for me. You should see some of the light manipulation he’s done with his other work…the guy rocks! Anyway, some of the shots inside the barn used a little light to bring Connie and Greg out of the darkness.
